We were fortunate enough to experience the culture of the Maasai tribe. We got to see and experience their hundreds of years of history.

Michael the Key Maker
Michael is a wonderful example of how education can change your life. Starfish International strives to support adult education by providing classes to learn a trade. After getting a small loan, Michael's life was changed forever. He was able to get the materials needed to open a key-making business. His daily income changed from two dollars a day to twenty.
Starfish International did not provide the microlaon to Michael.
Starfish International Broke Ground!
This video was sent to us from Africa. Two hundred citizens of Mathare showed up to help us break ground!
Gabriel
While talking to Gabriel about our mission, he said, "it is possible." Gabriel grew up in the slum and we were lucky enough to meet him on our trip. Gabriel was our driver, protector, and friend.
